The Possible Effects A.I.-Generated Work Has on Our Writers

The “hot” topic for the past year has been AI-generated work and how it will effect writers.

On Friday, March 10th, The Media Advocacy will have an all-day Summit beginning at 11:30 a.m. – 10:00 pm EST.

This Summit will cover several topics that are of interest to writers. The Writers Panel, in particular, will begin at 3:30 pm CST (4:30 EST). I am the moderator.

We will have a panel of three experts who will address the “potential” effects AI-generated work could have on writers. One is an attorney who understands the copyright and U.S. legislative process. Another panelist has a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and is a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association. And the third is well-versed in international copyright law.

The Summit is FREE. You MUST register in order to participate in the live presentations.

This particular segment of the Summit (the Writers Panel) should help all of us better understand what we’re up against with AI-generated work, and hopefully, you will leave with a better sense of how to protect your creative work.
